Belated Father's Day

So I'm late in posting this, but Aaron hopefully had a great Father's Day. He woke up to French Toast, eggs and bacon. He then had a stress-free morning, and then church. For dinner he got steak, and "white" potatoes, with peanut-butter brownies for dessert. As you can see from the pic, the kids made him a wonderful tie that he proudly displayed at church. I think it's his new favorite. We love Daddy! (Me especially!)

The next weekend, Aaron took off to Utah to do a triathlon with our brother-in-laws. He was doing the swim. They were doing olympic distance, so Aaron swam about 1 1/2 miles, and he did it in 23 minutes. He was the ninth swimmer out, so he did awesome! He was so sore afterwords that he couldn't move for like an hour, but he finished! They had a great time and even got silver medals (granted there was only two relay teams, but still . . .) I'm just so amazed that he could go to work full-time, go to school, and train for the race. He really is an amazing guy. We love him and are sooo proud of him!!!

So sweet! Brian left for Denver for a couple months of business the day before Father's Day, so we unfortunately did nothing for him. Aaron looks so happy to be wearing the tie his kids made him. What a nice daddy!
