Sledding

There kids were dying to go sledding. So I dug out our 1 snow tube from the attic and pumped it up. We then headed over to our park area. There are four or five drainage areas around the park, and they all have little hills. There was a TON of people and the snow was starting to melt, but the kids had a blast. As you can see by the last picture, the snow metling caused pools of water at the bottom of the hills. We were lucky to have a tube and not a sled so the kids wouldn't get wet. They outlasted every other kid out there. The last time they went, when they hopped out of the tube the water came half way up their legs! There feet were soaked, but they were happy :)

Snow Day

We woke up to this today:

So of course, they canceled school. Kaitlyn was beside herself with excitement. They quickly got all bundled up:

And headed outside. They had fun playing, and especially throwing snowballs at Ramseys. The best part was Ramseys. He was so funny. He just ran around and around eating the snow. At one point he was running around and he plowed right into Matt, knocking him over into the snow. Matt didn't like it, but I thought it was hilarious! I'm sure it will all be melted by this afternoon, but at least they got to enjoy it a little bit.

Bowling

Aaron had today off (since he worked last Sat.) so we told the kids they could pick something fun to do. They decided on bowling, so we headed to Big Al's. It was fun! The only bad part was poor Aaron couldn't bowl since he sprained his ankle playing basketball last night. But he was a good cheerleader.
