A little rant
Matt has pink-eye. And I'd just like to say that whatever genious pharmaceutical company decided that drops were the best way to get rid of pink-eye obviously never had to administer them 4 times a day to a two-year-old. At least Aaron and I are getting some practice in for if we ever want to join professional wrestling, or hog-tying. . .

It's Christmas Time
And last but not least, Kaitlyn's preschool had their Christmas program on Friday. Kaitlyn was the angel. During the singing you could hear her voice the loudest. At least she's not shy :)

A New Do

We straightened Kaitlyn's hair today, just to see if we could straighten all those curls. I think it worked quite well. She loves it. She keeps running to the mirror just to look at it. Her next statement was "Miss Carolyn is going to tell me how beautiful I am. " (Miss Carolyn is her preschool teacher for those who don't know). Since when did I raise such a vain little girl???

Some Randomness
So here is just a little bit of catch up. The day after Thanksgiving we went with our wonderful friends the Atkinson's to get our tree. For those of you that don't have the pleasure of living in the Pacific Northwest, I feel for you. They have these wonderful Christmas tree farms that are acres and acres of Christmas trees that you get to pick and cut down yourself. The smell is undescribable. And it is cheaper to cut them down yourself and they last twice as long. There was also a hay ride, animals, and free hot chocolate and candy canes. It was great. Unfortunatly I forgot my camera, so you only get to see pics of the finished tree.

We finally decided to move Matt out of his crib. We figured it was finally time. So we looked through the wonderful shopping world that is Craigslist and found a nice bed for him. For those of you that don't know our secret for your kids never getting out of bed,
you just buy a bed that they are afraid to get out of. We moved Kaitlyn to her
bed (a daybed) at 18months, and she was too afraid to ever get out, so to this day she will stay in bed until one of us goes and gets her. So to solve the problem for Matt we purchased him a loft bed, which is like a bunk bed but with nothing underneath. So being the savvy space savers that we are, we put his toy cart and his dresser underneath the bed. He loves his bed, but is too afraid to get down by himself, even in the daylight.
The rest of the pictures are just some fun ones for your viewing pleasure.
We've finally done it
So we finally decided to break down and join the blogger world. I suppose this will save me on e-mail time. Quick update for those of you who don't know us. . . Aaron is working as a Processing Engineer, and working on his MBA. I'm a stay-at-home mom with a side job of piano teaching. Kaitlyn stays busy going to preschool and playing with friends. Matt enjoys anything to do with Cars and picking on his older sister. I'll post some more interesting blogs later once I figure out how to do all this.
